Both beaches are within easy walking distance. Paignton Beach — with its wide sandy shoreline, pier, and promenade — is approximately 10–15 minutes on foot from Two Beaches. Goodrington Sands, a quieter sandy beach popular for paddleboarding and family swimming, is also 10–15 minutes away on foot. We are genuinely situated between both beaches, which is exactly where the name comes from.

Two Beaches is approximately a 10-minute walk from Paignton train and bus station. This makes us an excellent base for car-free exploration — you can catch trains to Torquay, Exeter, and beyond, or board the Dartmouth Steam Railway at Paignton station for a scenic steam trip through to Kingswear.

Paignton Zoo is approximately 10–15 minutes by car. The Dartmouth Steam Railway departs from Paignton station, which is about a 10-minute walk from Two Beaches — a wonderful day out along the coast to Kingswear. Paignton Pier and the seafront are around 15–20 minutes on foot.

Yes. We are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, and gluten-free diets at breakfast. Just let us know your dietary requirements when you place your booking and we will make sure everything is ready for you.

Several of our rooms have lovely views. The Churston room has sea views across the bay towards Torquay and beyond, and the Saltern and Watcome rooms have bay views. The Anstey room overlooks the garden. Full details — including photos — are on each room's individual page.

Absolutely. Our Saltern room is a single-occupancy room from £55 per night, with everything you would expect: free WiFi, Smart TV, en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, and a fridge with fresh milk. Solo travellers are very welcome at Two Beaches.

We do our best to accommodate every guest. We have two rooms on the ground floor (Goodrington and Broadsands) which are accessible without using stairs. Our other rooms are only reachable by stairs. If mobility is a concern, please get in touch before booking and we will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable.

We offer a complimentary pickup from Paignton train station for arriving guests — a lovely touch if you are travelling by rail. For Exeter Airport, please contact us directly and we will do our best to help point you towards suitable transport options. Yes — free on-site parking is included for every room. There is no need to search for a car park or worry about parking charges at any point during your stay.

A minimum stay of three nights applies to all reservations. Please check availability via our booking system or contact us directly if you have any questions about specific dates.

Upon acceptance of a booking, Two Beaches may require either a deposit equal to the value of the first night or full payment of the total quoted price in order to hold the room. The deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled within seven days of the reservation date, except in the case of cancellation by Two Beaches.

Acceptance of a booking, whether verbally or in writing, creates a legally binding contract between Two Beaches and the person from whom the booking has been accepted (the Guest).

The number of people occupying a room must not exceed the maximum number stated for that room type.

To amend a booking or make a cancellation, the Guest must call Two Beaches on +44 (0)1803 522164 and quote their reservation number, name, check-in date, and have payment card details available.

In the event of a cancellation or non-arrival, the Guest shall pay Two Beaches a cancellation fee. Two Beaches will endeavour to re-let the accommodation, but if this is not possible the cancellation fee will be equivalent to the total cost of the booking. In the event of a booking reduction, the Guest will be charged the full cost of the original booking.

Where the Guest provides credit card details to guarantee a booking or make any payment, it is agreed that in the event of cancellation or non-arrival, Two Beaches may debit the Guest's card with the full cancellation charge, less any deposit or payment already received, plus any applicable card handling charges.

Two Beaches reserves the right to cancel a booking without liability in the event of damage or destruction by fire or other cause, any shortage of labour or supplies, or any other cause beyond our control that prevents us from honouring the reservation. In such circumstances Two Beaches will refund the full amount paid and will have no further liability to the Guest.
